The flat was in a great location and the room was very nice! We had a big bed, we shared the bathroom with the landlord. Everything was very clean and tidy.
The next morning we even got a small, very tasty breakfast. We regret that we couldn't speak Spanish or French and therefore had difficulties to communicate. But even that was no problem. We will be happy to come back!

Great location in a cosy setting in Peniche Djebelle, close to Bayonne city centre. Isabelle is a great host, and could not do too much for me. Great breakfast on the deck overlooking Bayonne. Recommended.
To be able to stay in a private home, on the river, in France was a dream come true for me! The hosts were perfect --welcoming, helpful, thoughtful, but unobtrusive. They seemed as if they enjoyed their role. The boat was lovely; my room included a private patio with full view of the river and the steeples of Bayonne. The full breakfast, beautifully served out-of-doors, included everything a sojourner needs to start the day.

It was a great experience to stay two nights on the boat with our lovely hosts. The room was very nice and comfortable. We got a great breakfast with a fine view over the river and the old city centre. We enjoyed the occasional rocking of the boat and watching the tide going in and out. The accommodation certainly gives a different experience from hotels or classical B&Bs. Access to both rooms on the boat is through the owners' private quarters. It is like home from home.
