Maison Hulotte is a beautiful old home refurbished to perfection in the heart of Amboise. You can see the Loire River flowing and the imposing Amboise château from the windows. Agnès, a skilled potter, has very artfully restored this place. Everywhere you looked there was something to catch the eye and admire. Her studio, with its inviting roaring fire, is open to guests to sit and relax. Our room and bathroom were perfection—perfectly appointed, warm, and cozy. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The breakfast Agnes made for us, all of which was homemade, was delicious and sumptuous. I cannot recommend her chambres d’hôtes highly enough!

Porte Bleue is a compact accomodation but has everything you need. The location is amazing with a direct view over the river of Château Amboise and a short walk into town. Chantal is a lovely host who goes out of her way to make sure your stay is enjoyable.
Anne is a great host. We felt being Home with them. She went out of the way to help with choice of restaurants , booking bikes and evening advising us for the restaurants in Paris. Erave and Anne also were kind to drop us at the station the next day. I would recommend it to everyone if you want a home to stay in Amboise , there cannot be any other place better than Le Vieux Manoir.
Lovely apartment. Set back from the road and very quiet. Denis was a lovely host and kindly provided a breakfast basket for the first night so we didn’t have to shop immediately. That was very kind and thoughtful.
We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.
Antonios House is very beautiful and he is a great host. The room we slept in was cozy and clean and the breakfast perfect and a good start in the day. But the best was Paul, the ginger cat. He is such a great guy and we would have loved to take him with us :-)
Right in the middle of town, easy walking to every place we wanted to be, but very quiet and away from busy roads. The staff is stellar— they had excellent recommendations for meals and activities, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We felt like guests in a private home. Our room at the top of the house was large and comfortable with a lovely town view.
Ambience, Laurent who ran it to perfection and is simply a great host. Breakfast. Car Parking. Room (Rose). Swimming Pool. Grounds, drive up to Chateau. There’s a LeClerc petrol garage 100 metres from end of driveway. Clos Lucé in Amboise (Leonardo da Vinci) gorgeous.
Outstanding breakfast provided by our host. Great host, always very friendly, greeted us each morning at breakfast and provided wonderful recommendations. House only 15 min walk from city center, supermarkets close to house by car. Great area, nice, well equipped room, no noise. A/C worked well in room.
Lovely hosts, new, clean , modern “apartment”. Parking right outside the room & a lovely garden area with table & chairs which must be wonderful to use in the summer. Not far from the centre of Amboise- 15 min walk approx , so convenient for the chateau & restaurants . Great place to stay.
