It was in a beautiful location, I done lots of amazing activities while staying (snorkelling with reef sharks/ school visit/ hike up the mountain)
The whole village seemed to welcome me.
Please remember this is a homestay in a very small village with limited supplies, it wasn’t a bad thing but be prepared for bucket washes, not much privacy (you are in a homestay after all) and the home life of a family living on an island.
I felt very safe as a solo traveler!

Our host was very friendly and really went out of her way to make our stay an enjoyable one. As we stayed for a long time (more than six weeks) we also used the cooking facilities a lot. We had some suggestions for improvement, which were received with a very open mind. She also helped us to rent a car. It is definitely needed to reach this homestay.
I really loved The peaceful atmosphere of the area, even though it is well connected with the bus you cannot hear it. It was a really nice trip, with lovely host and dogs.
colourful reef, good swimm at high tide, less windy, hiking for 30 $ per person, village life on a Sunday with the Lovo and church was very nice to see, Vodafone(better) and digicell are working from the beach, we drank rainwater and put in pills, no supermarket, food was plenty and good, From naqualia Lodge to the Homestays it's one big Familie all are connected. Shark diving available close by. bedroom in the House of the host,
Loved our stay here! The main common area and restaurant has a beautiful open air colonial feel as it was once a private home and set in a lush garden. The staff are very attentive, the food wonderful and we loved chatting with Kesh, our driver. The accommodation is fun…glamping in a glass house! This is a great place to shake off jet lag before heading out to the outer islands.
Location was very central & the host were extremely friendly it was like a home stay they were exceptionally hospitable. It was like home away from home stay. Highly recommended.
