Everything. Clean in all areas, lovely staff, great location. The bottle of water and sweets are a nice touch in the room. Bathroom supplies with shampoo, shower gel and soap. Staff recommended where to eat. I left my overnight bag to collect after I checked out and they don’t charge for it.

It was quiet enough (not many trains at night), and just a few minutes needed to catch the train. The room was warm and the bed quite comfy.

I chose the accommodation because it was inside the walled city and it has its own parking garage (glad I rented a small car!). It is conveniently located very close to one of the city gates, and you are within walking distance of all the main sights, which is amazing. The manager was very friendly and tried to explain everything the best he could, but if you don´t speak Spanish (like me), expect to use the translating apps only. Wifi was fast and reliable.

The hotel is in an old palace just inside the old walls which is ideal for sightseeing. It was very comfortable and had a lovely dining room and cafe on site which we used and was popular with the locals as well.
Location...generous room size, bath and shower. Good views of historical Avila walls.. Easy walking / transport /taxi to all sights, station and bus terminal. Lively atmosphere in bar and restaurant. Short walks to fabulous walls, historic sites and Cathedral. Buzzing with locals enjoying themselves. Breakfast included ....very good value. Short walks into old city with bars and good tapas.
Clean, airy, quiet, plenty of space, excellent facilities (eg washing machine and fridge). Fernando was a great host. Restaurant nearby superb quality and value.
Location. Nice restaurant. (Italian, which was a welcome change, and many locals use it.) Good view from room over a pretty little square. A little noisy at night (it is in Spain!) but very quiet once the restaurant had closed. Helpful with storing our bikes.
The house is nicely tucked away in a quiet corner of Avila. Walking distance to the old town (appr. 10 minutes walk).
In the neighbourhood are some small supermarkets and a super bakery. The beds are great and the house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Free private parking space very nearby which is a great plus in a city like Avila.
Marta is a lovely hostess, who does everything to make you feel welcome!
Highly recommended...
