Casa Barbara quiet, clean and the host were super friendly. We loved having coffee by the pool and hanging out with her friendly sweet pups. The size of the beach cottage was perfect for the two of us. The ac worked great for sleeping at night if you like a colder temp. I was also impressed with the hand poured concrete kitchen counter top and woodwork for bed and shelves. All functionality was well thought out.

This place is absolutely gorgeous and the hosts are very kind and welcoming! Just a few steps from the beach and lots of amazing stores and restaurants! Service and cleanness was superb! The place is super cute and cozy! You can have very good options for breakfast for an amazing price (starting from $1-$5 - you choose how much you want to pay!). The beaches close by are gorgeous! Walking distance from the Accomodation! Don’t forget to visit Punta Poppy when you are there! I will definitely come back! Thank you everyone! You guys are amazing!

The hotel is a good value in the town of Las Terrenas. I arrived from Santo Domingo after a 2+45 bus ride and walked from the main bus station to El Escondite in about 20 mins. The town beach is only another 20 mins and Las Ballenas Beach only took me about 30=40 mins from the hotel on foot. El Escondite has a shared kitchen, free water cooler and Netflix.

Place was relaxing. I was able to make multiple meals a day there. In walking distance of clubs and the beaches. Love there dogs. And Junior is a star of a landlord. Would definitely come back.

Samo Eco Lodge was a beautiful stay, with great host! The room was clean and very comfortable. Beautifully set in the mountains, waking up and going to sleep listening to the sounds of nature. Just be aware it is 15ish minutes drive from town, (which is lovely but could be inconvenient for others) The host gave me a moto taxi number though and then was kind enough to take me into town and help me rent a scooter for my stay :) Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend.
It was lovely, very well decorated, AC was working very well and very clean. Location was perfect as is in the middle of everything so easily you can go north or south. Very lovely host that gives you recommendations on everything. Lovely breakfast.
Beautiful, spacious bungalow. Gabi is a great host; super friendly and helpful! The property is very clean and pretty with a nice pool and a fridge with free drinks. Couldn't wish for better treatment. 10/10 in every aspect.
Excellent location. Great host and atmosphere. Really clean rooms, especially for DR and the region. The villa is spacious with just a moment to the beautiful beach and all the laid-back restaurants and clubs. Just by the corner really good small few-table restaurant - ask Sascha the host for details. To the hive-like city center not far but far enough - a short walk by the beach and you there. Really cool place to stay.
Luiggi is a very friendly and very helpful host. He is very responsive on WhatsApp and he has the sweetest dog 🐕. The kitchen is well equipped and the fridge is really big. The space outdoor is really nice with big tables and 2 hammocks. There are 4 toilets and 3 good showers 🚿. It's the cheapest hostel in the area and even though the room was not so nice for us, you get what you pay for but with a very good host 😀
A little weary because some negativity in other reviews but the price and location made me decide to book. Ended up staying longer. It's not a place if you're looking for luxury. I liked the personal attention and the room was clean. Not recommended to stay inside the whole day as it is a bit small. The restaurant downstairs had great Chilean food.
Dilsy was a great host she gave me tips about what to do. Loved that it was steps from the beach and the little supermarket next door.
Unique location, great hosts and stone throw away from the beach. We enjoyed our stay enormously and our little son (1 year old) made good friends with the Mango-eating Bunny.

Beautiful place, very clean, amazing breakfasts, great hosts. Very close to beautiful beaches and Las Terrenas waterfront restaurants and bars.
Mathias, his family and staff were super friendly and helpful, they gave us great recommendations for the local area and made us feel comfortable and relaxed.
We had an amazing time and wished we had spent more time in this area rather than Punta Cana/Cap Cana!
