Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
We were going to a wedding nearby so the location was good. The Fjord is pretty. We had lunch, coffees and breakfast and all were very good - appears to be a very popular place for locals on a Sunday for buffet breakfast.
The rooms are basic. The receptionist and dining staff were very nice and helpful.
