Villa Strand is an exceptional place to stay. It is separate to the Hotel Hornbaekhus, where we had breakfast and evening meal. The hotel and rooms are decorated and furnished in a tasteful Nordic style. There is a lovely balcony with views over the dunes to the sea. There is direct access on to the lovely sandy beach, and it's just a few minutes from the lively village centre. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Villa Strand if you enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.

The room I was in was small yet cosy. Something got mixed up during booking, but it was resolved quickly and friendly. A window was available for plenty of ventilation. The property indeed features a nice garden, with places of sun and shade for the choosing. It is dead quiet at night, and the surrounding nature is beautiful.

Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Great location for a mix of beach and site seeing, especially to Copenhagen. Helene was a great host, very knowledgeable and helpful but also gave us space. Really comfortable and great breakfast.
