Villa Strand is an exceptional place to stay. It is separate to the Hotel Hornbaekhus, where we had breakfast and evening meal. The hotel and rooms are decorated and furnished in a tasteful Nordic style. There is a lovely balcony with views over the dunes to the sea. There is direct access on to the lovely sandy beach, and it's just a few minutes from the lively village centre. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Villa Strand if you enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.
Situated 31 km from Dyrehavsbakken, Mollys offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a garden and a shared lounge. It is set 34 km from Grundtvig's Church and features a shared kitchen.

Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Great location for a mix of beach and site seeing, especially to Copenhagen. Helene was a great host, very knowledgeable and helpful but also gave us space. Really comfortable and great breakfast.
