The owner of the pension was very friendly the entire time. He gave us some advice on transportation and places we could also visit. We also got a guest card that we can use to travel on some busses for free. It is a cozy place to stay, in a quiet area. Breakfast was really nice too, and close by there is a supermarket and
a Rossman where you could buy some supplies too.

The host was very amiable. He made us feel right at home. The location was great: right in the middle of nature. And the dinner he made for us was delicious.
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
We felt warmly welcome both by the Biedermann family, as well as by the locals. Sebnitz is a picturesque village close to the border. The property was clean and surprisingly spacious. We loved the decor and equipment, especially in the kitchen. Car is a must. We were able to park round the corner at a makeshift parking lot free of charge since we were provided with a parking permit.
