The history of this Hotel is on display in every possible way. The owner has taken such personal pride in the hotel. We felt like we were transported back in time, but with modern conveniences (Wi-Fi, elevator, etc). The stay was flawless. The lovely host Jennifer met us at the accommodation to show us the room and orientate us. The room was lovely, so large and spacious and clean. It had a gas fire place running which was lovely and warmed up the room. Beds were comfy and the rooms were spacious. Would definitely stay here again. Only a 5 minute walk into the main street.

Location in this beautiful city was close to everything we needed. We walked to the beer garden down by the river, visited the wall city and it's historic buildings, and found a fantastic Italian restaurant which locals loved. Breakfast in the morning was delicious with eggs made to order. The woodwork in our room added so much character. Staff was so very friendly!
