It was very clean and comfortable. One could stay there even without any help from the employees - except for breakfast- also had a small wellness place. Especially bathroom was clean and tidy. They have thought about every detail.
Employees are very friendly and helpful, safe to say very competent.

Much closer to the train station then expected! Staff was so helpful to upgrade our room, provide an earlier check-in than expected, AND store our baggage. The restaurant was delicious and very agreeably priced. Stayed with my brother and sister for the Taylor Swift concert at Veltins arena- perfect 30 minutes to venue.
Unterkunft Mara is located in Oberhausen, just a 15-minute walk from Theatre Oberhausen and 4.7 miles from Dubois Arena.

I loved that the beds were comfortable and cheap prices. I stayed there for the Eras Tour and price were nothing compared to rest of the cities. The place is perfect if you want to travel to oberhausen and nearby cities for big events.
This family-run hotel is in a quiet side street, between Essen Main Station and the exhibition center. It offers a daily buffet breakfast and good public transport connections.

The owners of the hotel are very nice people. They let me check in at 5 in the morning, and I'm incredibly grateful for that.
I liked breakfasts there. They had a nice choice of food, and it was all tasty. They also let me use their fridge.
The mattress was comfortable, I also really liked the blackout curtains - they made my room really dark, so it was comfortable to sleep during the day.
Also, I got one fresh towel almost every day, and trash was taken out multiple times.
The location of the hotel is really nice, it's close to one of the metro stations, and it took about 30 min on feet to get to the central train station.
The neighborhood is quiet, very green, but also close to all the stores and cafes you might need, including Aldi and DM.

We often meet in Germany to go to a party, And because it's way more fun to have all your friends together in the same apartment, we stumbled on this, It's a huge apparent with many rooms, so everyone can have his privacy when needed,
It wasn't totally clear to me, but there are 3 bedrooms there of 2 with a sleep couch, the top also has a bedroom for 2,
Then there is the main room with access to a balcony and 4 beds, and access to a "loft" with another bed.
Also, the owners were really helpful and hospitable.
There is plenty of parking space and the city is only 5 min away
