Merdingen is a small village about 15 minutes far from Friburg, therefore it's very quiet so you can sleep very well. There's a nice balcony as well. I could pay cash, just living the money on the table in the room (I just loved the trust placed on the guests by the owners). The owner was very kind. They give some small presents which I really appreciated.

Situated in a very lovely small village, at walking distance from the train station & local thermal spa. The hostess was very responsive & even provided her mobile number in case our train gets delayed. The room was very clean & had everything we needed, the balcony was facing the small garden & the forest behind it. All-in-all -it was a very peaceful comfortable & enjoyable stay.

The location of this hotel is the best! So beautiful and peaceful yet only 10 minutes to the Old Town by the frequent tram that stops right in front. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms were always available. The owners and staff were always so kind. I loved my stay here and wish I could’ve stayed longer.
