The location is excellent for most of the tourist sites. We walked everywhere. Plenty of restaurants. Ten minutes to bakeries and stores for breakfast needs. Hostess was very helpful when we had trouble with texted information for getting our key.

The Hotel was really cool and thee hostess was extremely kind and ready to answer any question. Breakfast was a continental one with a wide variety of food, from ham to cheese to fruits, etc... Definitely a good place to stay to visit the city of Bamberg!

It was a room in an apartment in a large modern residential building. Gorgeous view overlooking Bamberg. Lovely hosts - friendly, kind, and helpful. Place is a 15-munute walk from the Bahnhof and another 15-20 to center, but that's a nice walk. No breakfast here, but there's a good bakery and cafe next door, plus a really nice park.
Lovely staff, great location and they have a lovely al fresco bar out side which is very popular with the locals, beer and food...!!
Room quite spacious and very comfortable.
The main building was a gorgeous old place built in the 1700's but the rooms are all in a modern extension built in the 2000's. I liked the beer garden which was busy with locals as it was a holiday. The double glazed doors and electronic shutter blocked any noise from the beer garden, which really was quite a lovely gentle hum of conversation.
Excellent location for visiting the old town and getting out into the countryside. Quiet street. Good hostelries within walking distance. Excellent public transport
