Pension Williams is a traditional Black Forest guest house situated in Seebach. It is a 5-minute drive from the B500 and the scenic Schwarzwaldhochstraße route, and a 10-minute drive from Mummelsee.

Been to Pension Williams a few times now. Dave and Angela are great hosts but unfortunately being nice doesn't make up for the tired basic facilities anymore. Lovely location with outstanding views if you are lucky enough to get one. Booked a year in advance and still didn't get one. I did note that other single bikers staying one night got one, must be the luck of the draw. If you get a rear facing room it's a wall to look at. The rooms are very old now, poorly lit and have old creeking furniture. Small TV with no English channels, no tea or coffee facilities and claims no WiFi but there is as my phone still logs on 5 years later . Unfortunately the reception guest toilets weren't cleaned once in the 4 days we were there which is a shame. There is no communal guest lounge, just the breakfast restaurant, there is a basic but well stocked honesty bar. There are no other food options available at Pension Williams The one decent restaurant in town has nowxshut down, that leaves a hit and miss kiosk in the park. The nearest restaurant Sternen is a brisk 30 minute walk , nice but quite expensive. Another 10 minutes walk takes you into the next town where there is a lovely kiosk in the park open 7 days a week. Does good food and icecream. There is also a good restaurant called Pflug that has amazing food and a pizza takeaway. I like Pension Williams and the owners but I'm sorry to say there are far better places these days, particularly after a 500 mile journey. I hope David and Angela pick up the pace a bit and improve the facilities for future prosperity.

Bäuerlehof is located in Seebach. Each room here will provide you with a balcony and satellite channels. Private bathroom also comes with a bath or shower. You can enjoy garden view from the room.

The host is absolutely great. Super friendly, helpful, accommodating. She went out and bought two vegan sandwich spreads for my wife for breakfast, because my wife does not eat dairy or meat. Location is great and beautiful. The household feels very family like. Price is also excellent for what you get. 100% would come here again!
