Very cozy room and overall structure, friendly and attentive host who attended to our requests warmly. The location is excellent, close to the metro and to the main attractions, but also very quiet. The design of the furniture was also interesting and didn't feel bland as many places do. Everything we needed was present.

The host is supportive. The place is pretty, very local-style. The room even smells of good wood, which I love. They offer filter faucet in each room for direct water drinking. I highly recommend Begonia Flowers, not mention the good location in the heart of the town.

A very nice hotel in a quiet place but very close to the center of Tongli. Cool location. The room is comfortable, contains all that we need. The host is very hospitable and friendly. When in Tongli, would gladly stay here again.

The biggest attraction of this hotel is its location. It is only a few minutes from Pingjiang Road. Hotel staff is very helpful and helped us with our luggage up the stairs. The room we stayed in was clean and spacious but it is a Japanese styled room ie. mattress on the floor and sit on the floor with a low table. We are ok with this but it can be difficult for older guests. The hotel also has traditional Chinese Hanfu(costume) for rent (plus makeup) for photoshoots on Pingjiang Road.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
The location of the homestay is very easy to find. I contacted the shopkeeper in advance and sent me a guide. When I arrived at the subway terminal, I picked us up with a tricycle and helped us sell the tickets to the ancient town, which made our trip very smooth. We booked a riverside viewing room. The room has a very good view. You don't have to go out to see the small bridge flowing water.
Home stay kind of accommodation. Owner and staff very friendly and helpful. They will recommend where to have your meals and places to visit. For luggage can be arranged with front desk for trishaw to help with transportation to main entrance or parking.
Staff were lovely, helpful, friendly and spoke English too. They have a little dog who is very cute. The common area is full of boardgames and books and friendly travellers. Great place to meet people and a nice atmosphere. Amazing value best suited for solo travellers to Suzhou. Hot showers, and the beds are comfortable. Fantastic location as well, near to many shops and excellent restaurants, with markets down the lanes selling authentic Chinese products at discount rates. Great hostel experience overall.
