The host family, Mr Yang and his mom, did an excellent job in providing great service and food to their guests. Mr Yang helps in every well to ensure you get around comfortably, providing sound advice and getting entrance tickets ready before your visit to the Great Wall. His mom provides home-cooked meals fast and delicious. You feel well taken care of and well fed.
We arrived after some intense days in Beijing with our three kids, and it was like coming home. Yang, Lilly and their two kids welcomed us in their cosy home stay. We went there during February and the weather was cold, but the house was warm. The rooms were spacious with views over the hillsides. At the top floor Lilly started the fireplace and we had some lovely family nights after coming home from a wandering on the Chinese wall. The food was very good and Lilly helped with everything we needed
The experience of staying at this homestay is very good. I am a French resident in China and have been living there for a long time. The environment here is very good, clean and tidy. The location is also very convenient. I went to visit the Mutianyu Great Wall and the host provided free
transportation. Next time I come to visit, I will stay at this homestay
The location was great. Didn't have to take the shuttle to get in to the village next to the Great Wall. The people who run the Homestay were very kind and helpful. They bought tickets online for the Great Wall for us so we didn t have to wait in line. They also offered to bring us to the Wall and to pick us up after. A 2 minute drive. I'd love to come back!
the rooms are very cute and clean! the host family is absolutely kind and so helpful!! super close to the Great Wall entrance (10 min walk to the cable car that takes you up).
the hosts helped us buy tickets to Great Wall and a bus ride back to the city (which saved us so much money).
incredible view of mountains and nature (and you can also see a corner of the great wall) from the terrace on the top floor.
also, do not forget to try the homemade dumplings and food!!! they’re incredible!
