Loved our stay at Rock & Wood Cozy House! Vivian was a great host and very accommodating! The house was well decorated and homey. The location was great. Vivian served as tea and snacks upon arrival, and provided a great breakfast in the morning. Highly recommended!

Perfect place to return after a long, hot day exploring Hangzhou. The rooms are located above Dajing Coffee (check in at the hostel across the street), on a small street with charming shops and cafes and easy access to Wushan park.

Really quiet district not far from Xihu. The Subway station is not that far, but the distance is not walkable. We mostly used didi (Chinese taxi) to get to the temples or parks. It wasn’t more than 20 yuan.
Room is clean, facilities are new, toothbrushes are stylish.
The street nearby is full of the restaurants. We found a really nice tiny family restaurant (where mostly locals eat). The food was great.

We like the breakfast which provided by host, sample breakfast but delicious and healthy. the location of these home stay are close to West Lake by walking distance. The entrance is the tourist bus station and normal bus station is just 150m away from hotel.
This is a very nice boutique hotel in the west lake area. The hotel itself and rooms are tastefully decorated. It's 5 mins walk to Linyin Temple and Linyin bus terminal. Lots of eateries around the area. Highly recommended if you want to experience a stay offered by locals.
Fantastic homestay-style hotel in the heart of an authentically local area, surrounded by
restaurants, cafes and the odd bar. A real step away from the commercial districts of Hangzhou and very handily placed for the sights around West Lake. Amazing and welcoming hosts who spoke reasonable English and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Decent WiFi, cute rooms!
If you want luxury and mod cons, try somewhere else. If you want a home away home in a great (and absolutely safe) area, come here.
We had an amazing stay! The area is quiet and beautiful, definitely what we were looking for coming from Shanghai. The bed was amazingly comfortable, and so was the bathtub. And Tina is a great host, enjoyed talking to her and other guests! Will definitely come back.
