Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
This is a double storey homestay apartment where checking in is at the south lobby of the building. Nice quiet apartment with full window view of the city has a small kitchen; no utensils, where the bedroom and bathroom is at the upper level. Convenient location with close distance to the metro station and nearby mall where there are wide range of restaurant for choice.
Breakfast and dinner buffet were excellent and close later on week-end. Most of the staff understand at least a bit of English. Close to everything (mall, locals markets, metro).
Bed was very comfortable and room clean. Wifi ok in general. There were many TV channels but all locals. Breakfast buffet was better than expected and at 50 Yuan additional, it was already very acceptable.
the buffet breakfast was amazing and the price is reasonable. the lunch/the yumcha is a little bit pricy but still attracts many tourists and the locals as well. The environment is fabulous with waterfall, fish and Bush and the museum exhibitions are unforgettable with too many priceless items like ivory and jade engraving arts.
I liked everything, from the way we was welcomed, through the whole stay, which was 11 nights and through which time we needed a lot of support and help and we receive it every time with big understanding from Timmy, Hotel Manager, who was always at our disposal and always willing to help and makes our stay away from home really very comfortable.
Recommend on 100% the Hotel and we will for sure return back here in our next stay in Guangzhou!
