A lovely, homely hostel in a nice residential area and a great base for exploring the wine region. The room was very comfortable and very clean and a very comfortable bed. Very good air conditioning. Very clean bathroom and hot shower with shampoos and soaps. A very nice kitchen, well equipped and good breakfast. Good WiFi throughout. A nice garden and bbq area with outdoor tables and couches. Luna the dog is lovely and friendly and good natured, and a good guard dog, though she knows what time people are asleep and was quite during the night.
Very good communication with the owners via what’s app, he spoke excellent English and had some great tips for wine tasting and restaurants. It really did feel like staying in someones home here, and a great place to meet other guests, but with enough privacy too.
Offering inner courtyard views, Westside - Habitación con baño privado in Santa Cruz offers accommodation and a garden. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi.

Breakfast was not available and the hostal was quite a distance from the town centre. Marko was generous in driving me to the bus terminal when leaving.

Our room was spacious and clean with a comfy bed, and the garden and pool area were great places to relax. It was very convenient having access to the fridge and kitchen (especially at Christmas!), and the breakfasts were sizeable and delicious. Most of all, Claudio was a great host who made us feel very welcome and had lots of recommendations - you can hire bikes at the b and b to explore the wine region.
Pool area with honesty bar and chill out is a beautiful oase to enjoy the Chilean weather
The owner, Javier, is a great host and around for some great recommendations (Viña Close Apalta) or any help finding transportation
The cabins are modern and functionally built. With little kitchen, BBQ, and very clean bathroom
Mandy was a super helpful and lovely host, helping with all our needs - taxis, recommendations for vineyards, and allowed us to use facilities that were not actually a part of the reservation. very kind and thanks for the great stay!
The stars at night were a bonus!
Lovely host and owner. We stayed there 13 Oct. Great breakfast. Fresh fruit and fresh eggs. Room had a nice log burner for a cold morning. Good parking. Location surrounded by vineyards and great restaurants. Gracias. Tony and Bow.
Great hostel, perfect for access to the vineyards of Santa Cruz. It is 10-15 min walk from the bus station and you can hire bikes next door. We appreciated the use of the kitchen and outside deck area.
This place is a hidden gem. Quite literally as it’s hard to find initially, not least because Google Maps has it 5 mins further down the road than it is.
it’s a small collection of very cosy cabins with incredible views from your private terrace which includes your own hot tub.
Its a perfect place to wind down with some local wine after a day of touring the area.
Sebastian was a great host and speaks good English in case you need it.
Nice and quiet room, clean bathroom, free water refill, excellent breakfast, lovely hosts (and dog), good location (5 minutes by foot to city center). Parking is possible in front of the house. We enjoyed our stay and would 100% recommend it.
