We arrived in Puerto Varas by bus from Bariloche, and the bus station was conveniently close. Our stay at this hostel was excellent overall. We started in the loft room, which was quiet and private but lacked a private bathroom. However, the loft could use darker curtains to block out the morning light, and the steep stairs leading to the room might be a bit challenging for some.
The shared bathrooms were spotless, and the communal kitchen was clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The private bathrooms were also great, with plenty of hot water and a spacious bathtub-shower combo. The sink being separate from the main bathroom was a nice touch.
One drawback was the lack of soundproofing in the rooms—you could hear quite a bit from the neighbors.
The hostel is conveniently located about four blocks from the town center, though the walk involves going downhill to reach it.
As someone new to hostels (this is my fifth one), I can say this is my favorite so far. I would definitely stay here again!
Ps. They have pets. They roam the property. We did find the cat on our bed one morning. They are harmless.

It was clean, the location is good, the WiFi worked well, basic diy breakfast included and the owner was very shy woman of few words but friendly. And the dogs were fun. I really don’t understand the high rating, it’s a 6/10 for me because of the above mentioned combined with the price but I would never recommend it for more than just a bed and shower.
