It is super close to the ferry which I was taking the following afternoon. The room was quite large with ample room for your luggage, rods to hang your clothes, and shelves to sort your toiletries out. There is a desk should you require it for business purposes. The room was clean and tidy. There is parking as well.
There are kitchen facilities available whether for short term or long term guests. The fridge and certainly the oven could do with some maintenance, but overall, coffee maker, toaster etc. were available for the guests to use. Although there was a hick-up regarding the heater (I had a sleeping bag in the car), I would certainly stay here again!!!
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
We liked, sorry loved, everything. This would have to one of the best places we have stayed in in many parts of the world. The nearest equivalent would be the homestays we had in Sri Lanka. The hosts are great people, friendly, chatty and willing to help in any way they can. If you need anything, please ask seems to be their by-line. The rooms are spacious and well appointed and everything you would expect to find is in there. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. It seems nothing was too much trouble for them.
Large, interesting house with a lovely host who cooked us some amazing breakfasts. A 20 minute walk into Saint John meant we didn't need to use the car which was very welcome after a long drive to get there. Nice view over the bay.
A beautiful house with lovely hosts who made us feel welcome and relaxed. The most comfortable bed I've slept in. Breakfast was exceptional. The location was excellent and an easy walk to many restaurants and shops. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Very tidy and lovely apartment equipped with everything you need. A good bed and nice bathroom. Great hosts and there when you need them. Location was very nice, very easy to get around and walking distance to restaurants and bars of the area.
