Veera is a lovely host, the room was comfortable & spacious with a full length balcony overlooking Courtenay River Estuary, I stopped there two nights whilst seeing friends in the area so made a great base not far from the town

I would certainly stop there again when I'm on vacation
The on site restaurant, Locals, is pricey but excellent. There are some beautiful walks around the property. The staff were very helpful. The rooms are spacious and the architecture is interesting—not your typical hotel room.

location was central to everything, Outdoor patio with mountain Veiw was an added bonus place to relax. Extremely quiet accommodations. I work throughout the day and do nights as well. Never a problem sleeping during the daytime.
This basement suite is well thought out and very clean and comfortable. I’ll be back for sure.
