Nice appearance. Room barely fit bed. Bathroom needed a total makeover. Shower door broke, no cold water at sink and hot water spigot spun around if you didn't hold it. Room was terrible. Terrace area was nice, but pool was not maintained. Dining room and living room were nice but kitchen was a disaster. Staff was as helpful as possible and seemed resigned to the disrepair everywhere. Location on the end of block was nice and convenient. Could be a great accommodation with a lot of TLC.
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
The hotel is located in the most beautiful garden, large trees and lush. The room we booked was not great, so we asked to be upgraded to the Garden Suites, which was miles ahead when it came to quality of space, interiors and amenities. The staff were amazing and helpful. The food was excellent and we felt amazing after every meal. Definitely an excellent choice for long and short term stays.
Thanks to Ellen for sharing her lovely home. The house is spotless, Ellen is a great hostess, wifi and aircons work well, local amenities are an easy drive away. We got more than our money's worth.
It's a beautiful house in a quiet location. My room was super clean and comfortable. Everything I could possibly need was available. Ellen is a lovely person and a great host. I enjoyed my stay at this property.
Stayed here on the way into and out of Botswana. As an overnight stop it has everything you would need, a pool, aircon, comfortable rooms and a great host. We shall be using it on our annual trips to Botswana in future!
