Excellent base to explore the town and surrounding area with the tram around 500m away. The owners were superb in explaining everything. Breakfast was superb and fresh.

The location was a substantial walk from the town centre but on a frequent bus route and a suburban rail station was close by. The main road was a pleasant and interesting walk and large cycleways separated pedestrians from the traffic. Veronica also had cycles for hire. We'll be using them on our next visit. Bruges is an absolutely beautiful city with lots to experience during your visit. However, the jewel in the crown is Veronica. She is so warm, friendly and hospitable. She clearly loves having people in her home and making their stay as successful as possible. A nice little kitchen, fridge, sink, kettle and coffee maker make the morning tea/coffee a simple operation. Thanks Veronica x

Well stocked kitchen including 2 coffee pots (one is regular drip coffee) no need buy specific coffee pods (coffee & spices provided) plus dishwasher, bathroom was great even had heated towel rack, linens, towels & tea towels supplied.
Had communal wash machine. English speaking tv channels. Highly recommend. Great host met to hand over keys and explain all.
The bed was very comfortable, I slept like a baby. Also really appreciated the TV with Chromecast to relax in the evening! Mike is a great host, flexible and quick to respond. I’d definitely book his place again.
Much better than your average youth hostel. Needing to take your own towels (bizarely still standard in International Hostelling) and the lino floor were the only real downers, but it was very clean. Well placed for beaches, port and town centre. Firendly receptionists. Great hostel kithchen. Good, hearty breakfast included. Even the huge school group from UK were remarkably well-behaved. We expected a disturbed night and didn't get one. It was a double room, so no need to cope with a dorm.
