Excellent base to explore the town and surrounding area with the tram around 500m away. The owners were superb in explaining everything. Breakfast was superb and fresh.

The flat is situated in a quiet residential street, a 4 minute walk to the beach and 8 minutes to De Panne's main shopping street. It's equipped with a fridge and microwave. And there's a coffee pod machine - God only knows why they're so popular. There is an allocated parking space on site and additional free parking in the street outside. The flat was clean and comfortable. It's certainly on our list of places to return to.
There is a bakery 200m away. The opening times plate says that it's closed on Mondays. We weren't there on a Monday so can't verify that but it was also closed on a Tuesday. So beware.

Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
The location, the room, the food and our lovely host Sean were fantastic, especially recommend the warmth of the bar and the scampi with The Pipers sauce 😀
The appartment has a wonderful view on the ocean, the balcony is definetly the diamond of the appartment. Regarding to the price it is absolutely OK. its furnishing is not the latest one, and there are some cracks on the walls, but basically that doesnt matter, it is a good place to spend a holiday in.
Luc is a good host, he is friendly and he provides with a .pdf where everything important is written in a very detailled way.
