We had a special meeting at the "Plantentuin Meise", which is a famous location in itself, for a guided tour through the normally closed facilities. It was wonderful to have a lodge at walking distance to the site, so we were there in time and without the urge to travel hence and forth.

Super simple but functional place. Best shower head. Room had lots of light. Ours faced the street and it was quite noisy. No AC/fan so it might get warm; we had typical Belgian summer night so it was cool with the window open. Didn’t use the kitchen but it looked fine and clean. Bathroom was functional. Note for accessibility there are quite a few steep & narrow stairs. Family run, owners are super kind and considerate, let us keep our bags before check in and gave us the key ahead of time since the room was ready. All the best to the family!

Wonderful little place, everything is clean and neat and it seems they thought about all the little details. Location is not the best, but I took that into account when I booked it.

Honestly with the price, I expected less, but it was overall superb! There are set of rules, people are welcoming, not to say that the bathroom is clean with its amenities! The snacks are such a nice welcome, overall if I have a chance I will go back!

Minimalist to the tip. There is a record player in the room that clearly does not work. It was odd to have it pointed out by the person who provided us with the access ti the unit. Great walls and nice place but it needs a bit more love . That’s all we can say
