Excellent base to explore the town and surrounding area with the tram around 500m away. The owners were superb in explaining everything. Breakfast was superb and fresh.

The flat is situated in a quiet residential street, a 4 minute walk to the beach and 8 minutes to De Panne's main shopping street. It's equipped with a fridge and microwave. And there's a coffee pod machine - God only knows why they're so popular. There is an allocated parking space on site and additional free parking in the street outside. The flat was clean and comfortable. It's certainly on our list of places to return to.
There is a bakery 200m away. The opening times plate says that it's closed on Mondays. We weren't there on a Monday so can't verify that but it was also closed on a Tuesday. So beware.
This accommodation offers spacious rooms with a Senseo coffee machine and flat-screen cable TV with a DVD player, only 70 metres from the beach in Oostduinkerke.
De Groote Waere is located on the border of the Handzamevaart Valley, which ischaracterised by its open landscape.

The scenary was magnificent, the staff is great, the breakfast is good. Is in the middle of the fields and in no walking distance to shops or restaurants, us very peaceful. Deers live on the next lot.

Convenient stopping point after a late night crossing. Easily accessible and pretty location. Would have loved to have had longer to explore the area. Lovely host and super breakfast.
