First of all, I must mention that the hosts were wonderful people! The husband and wife were incredibly genuine and very kind, always ready to offer help!
As for the house, it was very comfortable, completely equipped and spotlessly clean! It provided us with a classic "Bosnian House" experience that offered all the comforts of modern living! The hosts prepared so many treats for us; including water, tea, coffee, fruit, cake, and wafers… The house is situated within a large garden and having the pleasure of using the balcony was a special bonus. The neighborhood where the house is located was very pleasant and it was very convenient to walk to markets and restaurants. It was especially close to the airport, just 10 minutes away and also very near the must-see "Hope Tunnel (Tunel Spasa)".
In summary; in this house where we stayed with our little son, you will have the opportunity to experience classic Bosnian life with the added bonus of the hosts' warm smiles and a cute balcony with the breathtaking view of the Bosnian mountains in a peaceful neighborhood...

Guest House Ciro is a ten minute walk to a host of wonderful coffee shops, Pigeon Square and the old town of Sarajevo. It is ideally located. The Guesthouse itself is in a quiet part of town, it is clean, comfortable, air conditioned and very friendly. The owners are welcoming and accommodating. There is also a terrace which is available to sit and take in the view of the mountains. I would highly recommend Guest House Ciro to anyone.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
The family was very helpful. They helped us the first day upon arrival even by providing some noodles as we couldn’t buy dinner. The day after, Enes showed how to get downtown and proposed his help if needed. The experience was very positive. The host family is very helpful and nice. I highly recommend this place for a family.

Amazing apartment in a very close location to the old town - a very nice walk to the city center. Nerko is amazing great host, he gave us a tour with his car and was always very helpful. Overall fabulous experience.
Excellent location in the centre of Sarajevo. Great value for money. The apartment is on the first floor, so it is not difficult to get up and down the stairs with the suitcases. Absolutely lovely host who helped with mine.
The appartment is small, but well appointed. Perfect for a couple on a sport stay. All bedding was perfectly clean. We would definitely come back.
Very good hosts. If you want first hand account of the Sarajevo Olympics and the siege , this is the place. They will make Bosnian coffee for you as well .If you stay for longer, you can taste the famous cooking (see other reviews) , though I did get a taste on requesting, but missed the famous chicken soup.
Location is good, close to the famous latin bridge, but ask for Djamia near school as otherwise , locals will send you elsewhere (Google maps confuses me). Nice garden too.
Best value for money guesthouse in Sarajevo. It was great staying so close to Bascarsija (literally a 1 minute walk), and everything of interest was max a 15 minute walk. It was also on a nice quiet back-street.
It's small and simple but it was enough for what we needed, everything felt cosy and homely.
The guesthouse is an extension of the owner's private home so they were on hand if we needed anything. They very kindly let us keep our bags in the room after checkout as we weren't leaving Sarajevo until later in the day.
