Stayed from August 20-26, 2024. Mr. Mauris is very pleasant and helpfully. We were picked up from the hotel. The room is clean and lovely. We had to rent a car, the town is not far but because if the heat and humidity, walking would have been uncomfortable and unbearable. In everything we had a wonderful experience.

The place is exactly as it is shown in the pictures! They were wonderful from the moment we reached out to request the transportation from the airport. Romar picked us up from the airport, showed us around to make sure we knew where we were and what we had nearby. We would definitely go back!
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Great host. Bit felt like being part of the family I was even invited to Marc's birthday party! Nice to be in a more Arubian part of the island. Beach within 10 mins walk as well as a great bar full of very chatty locals. Supermarket, food vans and laundry 2 minutes away as well as a close bus stop. Oh, and the self catering basics including meat, cheese, jam butter, and bread in the fridge greatly appreciated and you don't need to go out and buy all of them.
Helena and Sandy are great hosts. Very welcoming and warm-hearted. The breakfast was just one of the highlights amongst many surprises in the garden.
