Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
There was minor confusion on arrival. It was dark (not anyone's fault ;-) ) and I got mixed up with the arrival information. Once we got that sorted with a couple of phone calls and got in, it was a great stay and Mick was a great host. The cottage was very comfortable and all the little extra's like bread, milk and Tim Tams was a really nice and unexpected bonus. Would highly recommend.
Loved everyting. Great host, exceptional facilities, generous living area, good sized kitchen. Two proper separate bedrooms affording full privacy as each had their own door. Full sized fridge so great for family. There was a laundry with dryer. I was able to back the car into the garage and load/unload into the unit. WiFi is easy to connect to and great signal strength.
If you smoke there is a smoking area in the back yard.
Very cosy as is in the name! Accommodation had everything we needed and more. Great host which supplied all information prior to check in/out and even left a welcome gift upon arrival!
