Wonderful location with amazing views. Accommodation is fully equipped and well-stocked (even board games in case you're caught in wet weather). Patricia is an excellent host and thought of everything. Before we even made it to Tassie, she prepared us for a wonderful stay by providing helpful pre check-in advice e.g. her contact & where to pick up supplies. She let us know the weather condition as there was a bad storm the week before our arrival, so that we can dress for it and be assured that power has resumed. After I told her that I'll be chasing the aurora, she gave a lot of helpful tips for us to spot it. She's the most exceptional host I've ever stayed with and I've stayed in a lot of places around the world. I know I'll be well looked after when I return for another stay.

Amazing heritage accommodation within walking distance to Central Hobart and Salamanca. The photos don't do this property justice. It was beautiful. Heating provided (and needed) in early spring, but there are extra blankets as well. The garden was in bloom which just added to the magic. Even on a chilly morning, it was enjoyable sitting on porch with sun (and no wind) and enjoying a coffee and looking at the garden.

We loved the location. Close to CBD but away from any traffic. The views from the street out to snow covered Mt Wellington were amazing. Owners have done a terrific job creating a holiday letting that suits the surrounding houses. We appreciated having fresh milk and items in the kitchen to use. Also the washing machine was a bonus. The only thing missing was full length mirrors. The cottage is super warm even in Hobart’s cold temperatures.
