Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
The breakfast absolutely delicious with fresh made bread, stawberries, eggs, orange juice, cereal and milk etc.
The accommodate was modern, very clean and comfortable, quite and peaceful.
Sharon and Kim were great hosts who made you feel at home and the animal feeding was enjoyable.
Bread milk and cereal was supplied, along wth tea and coffee. Our lovely hosts also gave us fresh fruit and vegetables from their garden.
They gave us a tour of their greenhouses and shared a little of their lives.
Beautiful accommodation in a very pretty location, which was located a short distance from many wineries and a stone's throw from Richmond.
Natasha was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed.
The cottage includes a kitchenette with cooking utensils and eggs and bacon in the refrigerator. The location is excellent, probably less than one minute walk from the bridge. Lovely hosts, including a particularly beautiful and friendly cat who will want to move in with you. Spacious, private and extremely good value for money.
The renovations to former and historic barns were magnificent and cottage garden within the fenced off property were beautiful. The welcoming touches such as fresh milk, flowers in the cottage, firewood provided in the afternoon were unexpected and very much appreciated. The family (working) dogs were very friendly and energetic. Wonderful venue and lovely hosts. Hope the property is able to remain in family for many more generations. Would definately book again.
