Awesome location, lovely host, delicious breakfast, comfortable room with a great balcony.
Thoughtful additions like torches to walk to the restaurants nearby and beach chairs to use.
We were also lucky to get picked up from the ferry terminal when we arrived!
The location was perfect - a short walk from Horseshoe bay. All of the staff were so friendly and obliging. We rented a family room which had more than enough space for 3 of us. It was very clean. We got many recommendations on activities and places to eat from the staff and locals. Magnetic island is small, so 3 nights was perfect for us. We loved the morning yoga with Ruth! 10/10 breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hostel and would return :)
Selina is amazing for solo travelers. It has community vibes and daily activities make it so easy to meet with travelers and with locals on market days.
Staff are lovely and super helpful.
Bird feeding was a blast and love the yoga class!
Hammocks and pool side seats were so relaxing and it felt like a retreat in there.
You also see animals roaming around in the garden (including kangaroos) and can interact with them.
I would definitely stay there again (in a dorm) and already recommended to friends.
Amazing location and great hostel. We stayed in a private twin room which was great. Shared facilities including pool and bar were fantastic. Very chilled atmosphere where ypu could meet other travellers if you wanted or just relax.
We had a fantastic stay at Philip's place - nice roomy apartment, amazing breakfast, tons of tropical birds in the morning and Griffin the super friendly dog. Last but not least Philip was a great host, giving us a lot of great tips to spend our time on the island.
The perfect mix of new and antique furniture. Breakfast was fresh, delicious and exactly on time. Deb was a lovely host, respectful of privacy but extremely helpful. Images do not it justice.
