Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
A house that you could find in in glossy, warm welcome is the experience, a place were you do not want to leave.

Awesome bed and breakfast in an amazing location! Eagle bay beach only a stone throw away. Olida and Matt were great hosts and their property is amazing. Special mention to the kangaroos who visit daily! Will definitely stay again :)
Breakfast had everything you would need, fresh coffee, orange juice, fresh fruit, muesli, fresh bread for toast etc
Jack was a good host and the Homestead was beautiful and in a great location.
Surinams location is excellent with beautiful views of the ocean, perfect for a lovely sunrise and wonderful all through the day. We really enjoyed the fire and views from the bedrooms. We had everything we needed for a very comfortable and happy stay. Brian was a great host. We hope to be back in the future.
