Finally having an air conditioned room with my own makeshift bathroom and kitchen, TV, Microwave. Meeting some of the long-term residents that stay there. And having my privacy.... for the most part. Though if you stay in any of the lower rooms you can hear the people on the second floor walking around.

Lovely welcome from our great host Peter, provided some very useful local guidance and managed to check us into our room slightly earlier. Relaxed, quiet feel, well maintained with great facilities, utilised the big smart TV to watch the Euros football and the pool was lovely and refreshing.
Lovely hostel. Our room was spacious, clean and the aircon was strong. Peter is a great host and booked us onto the Reef Experience tour which I would highly recommend! Walking distance from Cairns Central shopping centre and the Esplanade.
