Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Great place for a relaxing holiday. The beaches were only metres away, walking down a track from the property. Horseshoe bay beach is great for swimming.
The beach cafe/restruant is 50metres walk, also an Asian restruant is very close.
All units had great views.
A very friendly atmosphere, Janet and John were great hosts.

Mick and Janine were lovely hosts. Kim the owner was away on holidays at the time however pre organised our accommodation and a spot to house our large boat. We came back a few days later to say gday and thank him for allowing us to park our boat here as it was two large to park at our newly acquired unit. Would highly recommend this motel to anyone visiting bowen. Rooms are clean, well maintained and affordable.
