The host was really lovely and I'd love to be able to give this property a higher rating just for that. The view from the balcony was great. Bed OK.

Our family of 4 stayed for 1 night in this beautiful cozy hotel in the center of Gossarl. We had a great experience. There are also nice restaurants and a supermarket very close . We totally recommend this hotel.
Hotel Pension Hubertus enjoys a quiet location next to the CityXpress cable car, a 3-minute walk from the centre. It offers alpine-style rooms and a charming garden.

We liked the welcome, the hosts are charming, schnapps on arrival is a winner, (maybe we were special:))))
the location, and the honesty bar. We like hotels where the locals choose to stay. This is a family run hotel and after staying in a 4 star hotel in Vienna and a 3 star in Salzburg in the same week, we vote the Pension Hubertus as our favourite base. For English travellers it’s the number 10 bus from Salzburg airport to Zell am see and a 1.5hr train ride, easy.

Jausenstation Pfefferbauer is a place to fall in love with:
The view of the Zeller sea is magical.
The staff is very friendly.
The rooms, maybe basic for some guests, are clean and with a balcony to enjoy the view.
There is also a very good restaurant downstairs open in the evenings (just remember it is not open every day).
You have also a free place to park your car.
The breakfast. although a bit basic, was very tasty and plentiful.
You get a "Zell am See-Kaprun Summer Card" which allows you to enjoy a lot of things for free or with a discount (cable cars, boar trips, buses etc.).
Viehhofen’s brandgut - vor Freude glühen offers guests a wellness area with a sauna, infrared cabin, steam bath and relaxation room.
