Sairee Beach, Koh Tao
Situated in Koh Tao and only a few steps from Sairee Beach, Mama O Chai Koh Tao features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The air-conditioned accommodation is 1.9 km from Mae Haad Beach. The holiday park has private entrance. This was my first trip to Koh Tao and I wasn't sure what to expect. But staying at Mama O'Chai's Bungalows was an AWESOME choice! PERFECT location on a long, wide sandy beach with GORGEOUS aqua blue water. You could even snorkel right off the beach by swimming out to the nearby coral. My bungalow faced the beach/sea and the breeze was fantastic. SUPER convenient and very peaceful and quiet. My bungalow was pretty basic but it came with everything I needed. The 2 fans in the room were plenty cool enough at night. The staff were AWESOME as well. Very friendly and welcoming. Loved the "Family Owned/Operated" vibe too. Felt like you were visiting old friends. I really enjoyed my stay there and if anything, it was way too short. There is a nearby "village" within walking distance, plus a 7-11 and Dairy Queen, and tons of amazing restaurants with all different kinds of foods. Plus getting to the pier was super easy and fast. Only took about 5-7 minutes on my bike. VERY easy to explore the island on the bike and got to experience tons of amazing beaches. Saw oodles of coral, sharks, fish and turtles too while snorkeling on several beaches. I would TOTALLY recommend this place to anyone and would love to go back there myself one day.

Complementary pick up and drop off at the ferry pier. Great location on Hat Sairee, near to good restaurants and dive schools. Pervious reviews made me worried about cleanliness, however our family bungalow was clean.
Really cool beach area, nice view from the bungalow. The girls in the kitchen made great omletts and were super nice.
Great location next to the beautiful quieter part of the beach. The 2 bedroom bungalow is excellent - comfortable, nicely decorated and clean. Great bathroom. On site reastaurant is very nice and good value for money. Plenty of towels, including beach towels.
Huge bungalow with terrace and fridge, comfy and big bed. Clean and quiet, but still in walkable distance to the busy parts of the town. And half the price of other hotels and hostels next door!
The pool, the view of the harbour, the water fountain in the house, and the overall serenity of the place made a nice setting for our short family holiday. Oh and Kitti were very nice and helpful in arranging things in the house.
- the manager was friendly and helpful - the swimming pool and view is gorgeous shaded by lovely trees - nice loungers - free watermelon and water every day - direct access to the sea - rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels - we stayed in the beach triple bungalow and benefited from a brand new bed - large fridge - good shower - sunset views from our balcony - there was an issue with the A/C which the manager helpfully resolved quickly
The staff were absolutely delightful! They paid great attention to all guests, always wearing welcoming smiles and eager to assist in making our stay more enjoyable. My favorite was the cheerful attendant at breakfast and by the pool, whose constant big smile was contagious. The swimming pool was lovely, and the breakfast was by far the best I've had in Thailand! The bungalow was also nice.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is lovely and the family bungalow was great. Nice swimming pool also. Lovely breakfast too almost on the beach.
cute little bungalow, has some really nice restaurants around including coconut monkey and bamboo beach bar for watching the sunsets. swimming pool was also clean and never too busy.
