The atmosphere there is very peaceful and calm, which I needed as I was attending a family funeral. and I think everybody needs this in our modern, frenetic world. All the people and staff were truly lovely. It had a special, clear, tranquil energy and it was wonderfully hot and sunny so the pool was welcome and the holiday park was very near all the lovely spots around Picton and Waikawa, which are stunning. The cabins are brightly painted and clean looking and the shower block and kitchen are immaculate. I loved it.

Parklands Marina Holiday Park ligger i Waikawa, blot 3,5 km fra Picton i Marlborough Sounds. Der er udendørs pool, hoppepude og legeplads med trampolin. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location next to the beach was wonderful. We were able to have a beach fire for New Year’s Eve.

Alexanders Holiday Park ligger 1,7 km fra Shelley Beach i Picton og tilbyder indkvartering med opholdsområde. Very quiet (just the birds), never met staff but phone call was friendly and understanding. Instructions were easy to follow.
