Located on Lake Tinnsjå, this Telemark County property is 30 minutes’ drive from the town of Rjukan. It offers cottage accommodation with scenic views. Mini golf and a sauna are on site.
Sandviken Camping’s cottages feature a cosy seating area and kitchenette with a fridge. Some also have a furnished patio and TV. Guests can choose either private or shared bathroom facilities.
I recommend it at any time of year.
Rjukan
All units include a flat-screen TV. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with mountains or river views. There is also a kitchen in some of the units, fitted with a dishwasher. There is a private bathroom with a shower in each unit. The huts were clean and modern.

Everything! Perhaps the best camping what we ever visited. Amazing helpful owner, kayaks, bikes to rent for free, the nature around and much more.

Swimming pool
Well equipped cabin, clean and newly renovated. Tastefully decorated. Absolutely lovely mountains to wake up to. The proximity to Krossobane and Rjukan swimming pool was also a big bonus!

At the time of our stay not a lot of campers / tents where there. So for me this piece and silence was perfect. The location is very nice next to the lake, with free use of the boats and kayaks that where there. The weather was nice and we were lucky to have a beatifull view of the lake with a nice sunset color palet.
Swimming pool, allthough you have to rent an extra towel, 40 krone!!
Great scenic location in itself and a great base for travelling around Telemark. Hotel allows dogs, although only in room and to get to room. Swimming pool was great. Great breakfast. Hotel staff were really friendly.
Location. Good breakfast. Facilities like free swimming pool access, jacuzzi, tennis, badminton, mini golf etc. Very friendly and helping staff. Gave special dishes like pancakes and berries with honey melon fruit plate. Also provided ice water to drink at night when requested
