The island with the iconic, ochre yellow cabins in the middle of the Reine fjord, The island have been in the care of the Gylseth family for many generations. A cosy, warm and perfect spot to stay overlooking the water and mountains. It snowed while we were there which only made us want to snuggle up in the hygge cabin. The hosts also went out of their way to make sure we were warm and looked after. Definitely recommend and would gladly stay again.

Toppøy Rorbuer offers seaside accommodation, 4 km from the scenic Reine village in the Lofoten archipelago. The location, the amazing view, right on the water, the silence, the peace, kitchen filled with apliences. Definitely recommend!

Located at the foot of Vågakallen mountain, these traditional rorbuer fisherman’s cottages in the village of Kalle come with free WiFi. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin which was a stone's throw away from the main facilities building, so it was very secluded yet convenient. The house was spacious and warm, and we enjoyed using the badminton court and lounge in the main building. This is one of the best accommodations we have experienced.

Το Hammerstad Camping βρίσκεται στο Svolvær της περιφέρειας Nordland και προσφέρει μπάρμπεκιου και θέα στη θάλασσα. The place is lovely and the owners are friendly. The camping place has a few larger huts, several tiny ones and spots for tents and caravans. The larger houses are very nice and clean with big windows and great views. While they are intended for five, we barely fit in and there were only four of us. The stairs to the second floor are extremely steep (it creates lovely space but for some people it may not be possible to climb). The location is just perfect.

Overlooking Lake Svolværvannet, these self-catering cottages and holiday homes include a well-equipped kitchen and free Wi-Fi access. Svolvær town centre is 2.5 km away. We loved the cabin. Yes, beds are a bit narrow and under the slanted roof but that adds to the charm. We slept very well. Cabin was very clean.
