We stayed in a bungalow, which was very cosy and comfortable. Although we did not have time, there was a hot tub for the clients, which was open 24 hours a day. For breakfast, there was a great variety of delicious local products like butter, yoghurt, and bread. We loved it. Furthermore, the staff took care of the clients and was alert to anything we needed. Paula explained a route around the peninsula to us, which was amazing.

Very nice location (if you like to be far away from everything), beautiful long beach and close to a nice little hot tub/local swimming pool facing the beach. Good location if you’re planning on a visit to Latrabjarg and the Red Beach - and not far from the ferry to Stykkisholmur/snæfellsnes. Great room with pen private bathroom, god shared kitchen facilities. Remember to fill the gasoline tank and bring your own food as there are no gas stations or grocery stores near by.

The deluxe bungalows are comfy and large.

We had a nice stay. The rooms and radiators were a little bit cold, which was surprising giving all Iceland geothermal energy. The kitchen was fine. Nice public shared living area. Quick and good information from the owner via the booking app. About 5 km. away is a nice public hot swimming pool. Beds OK. Cleanness OK Very good and free parking facilities. All in all good value for money. We liked it.

Staff was very helpful, nice and easy to communicate with. The service in the swimming pool was excellent, you can order drinks and they service them to the pool for you. The surroundings are beautiful and you have a view to the mountains from all areas of the hotel. I have been going to Húsafell for over 40 years but htis was my first stay at the hotel and I will be back

Lovely place, a small home nestled in a small cluster of houses. Felt safe, warm and welcome. The swimming pool and hot tub across the road were sensational! TV was good and kitchen was well equipped. The shower was also excellent. Beds and even books and games provided for the whole family. We stayed in 6 different places up and down Iceland in a week, and this one was my wife's favourite.

All good. Lots of space, swimming pool, hot tubs. Some musical instruments to play and some entertainment like darts, billiard (meh quality) and ping pong table are there too. Relax room is nice addition too :)
