Newby Bridge Country Caravan Park er 5 stjörnu gististaður í Newby Bridge, 13 km frá World of Beatrix Potter og 48 km frá Trough of Bowland. Location is perfect. It's very close to the villiages around windermere which we visited during 3 days of stay. The park itself is quiet and my caravan is 2 min walk from a petrol station with an express store which opens 24/7. The property is smartly designed. It is not as big as I thought in terms of square metres but each room and facility is useful. Very clean. My family and I all had good rest during our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. I couldn't find the control panel to turn on the heating system and I called their out-of-office-hour number in the evening the second day. The man said he would arrive in 20 mins from another location after trying to help via phone. Fortunately we found the panel which was behind the curtain in the living room and I called him back to avoid an unnecessary drive. Really a good service!

Tarka Halt 1 - Haven Lakeland Leisure er staðsett í Flookburgh á Cumbria-svæðinu og World of Beatrix Potter er í innan við 29 km fjarlægð. Location spot on 10 mins from Cartmel and Grange 20 mins from Bowness and the village of Flookbourgh and Cark 5mins away with pubs bakery and chippy. Tarka Lodge 1 was superb it was so comfy with great views over the lake also in a great spot being well away from all the action of the club and play arears but only a 10 minute walk away, the decking area of the lodge was excellent with furniture and a barbecue and the interior of the lodge was very comfortable with 2 large bedrooms 1 being ensuite plenty of storage in the hallway with a washing machine and tumble dryer if needed and the living room/kitchen area gorgeous with a comfortable 3piece suit and LGE t.v on the wall.Host Emma if you needed her was always there to answer you calls or emails and just to top it off it was pet friendly to, we were a family of 4 adults and our dog and there was loads of room inside and on the decking area, we are regularly visiting Cartmel and we will definitely be staying here again.

Clean stylish, tidy and spacious. Really nice to have tea and coffee, shampoo and super fluffy towels. The site is wonderful a real hidden gem with the Lakeside Costal walks, Aqua Park and the Ski Bar we had all we needed on our doorstep. Our 2 boys 9 & 12 were very happy as were we. Hosts were very responsive and checked in on us. We would definitely be back. Infact we can’t wait to head back it was such a lovely place. We were lucky enough to enjoy sunny afternoons as the locals tell us it has its own micro climate.

Lake View Lodge er staðsett í Millom, 26 km frá Muncaster-kastala og 42 km frá Windermere-vatni. Boðið er upp á garð og útsýni yfir vatnið. The cabin was beautiful and clean! So comfortable and cozy! Ski bar just a little walk down the road is brilliant for food and drink. Loved the fact it had toys and boardgames for the kids which in this rainy weather we took full advantage of!
