Swimming pool is very good and actually warm unlike other hotels. Breakfast is nice with lots of options. Nice comfortable beds.
The Bar and Entertainment
Location was great as we went to walk up Ben Lomand, swimming pool, and gym was great, staff very friendly, couple of good local pubs/resturants, and a local shop.

Excellent meals in the restaurant, both in the evening and at breakfast 😋 All the staff were especially welcoming, and helpful ! Excellent swimming pool! Nice large room, We will definitely return to this hotel, which very close to the motorway; and so very easy to find!
Food entertainment
good buffet breakfast, good that customers can use the sport centre of the University including the swimming pool.
The little swimming pool, though heavily chlorinated seemed clean enough. The sauna might have been nice if it been a bit hotter! The room (accessed via a warren of stairs and corridors) was at the back of the hotel and was looking out on woodland, so had no traffic noise. The TV had lots of channels. A bath and plenty of hot water. The staff were polite.
perfect for what we needed mid way through WHW walk. We were after a bit of space to stretch out, and a home cooked meal. Plus the laundry was useful 🙂 We stayed in a chalet but the site catered for all (campers, mobile homes, huts)
