Offering a barbecue and views of the lake, Niemilomat is set 13 km from central Varkaus in the Eastern Finland Region. We really enjoyed our time here. The guesthouse is very clean and beautiful. Especially the sauna with direct access to the lake is amazing. The breakfast was great and hosts were very kind and helpful.

Located on top of Kivesvaara Fell, 25 km from Paltamo, this property offers 360-degree views of the surrounding nature from an observation deck. The views were magnificent. The bird nests are perfectly oriented towards the sunset over the forest and lakes. Truly stunning. It seems to be a family-run business, which shows in the care they provide and tidiness of the place. Detail we loved: the soft, warm bread for breakfast. Stay at Arctic Giant, you will not regret it! I cannot stress the views enough.
