Cabarete
Cottages and various categories of rooms offer hand-crafted furniture and decor by local artisans, a private bathroom with shower, a fan and some rooms have the option of air-conditioning. The cottages have thatched roofs and some units have the option for a kitchenette with kitchenware. Our family of four throughly enjoyed everything about our stay at Surfbreak B&B. The grounds were beautiful, our cottage was clean and spacious, the breakfast was delicious, but above all the entire staff were wonderful (Geraldine, Tomas, Lucas, Orlando, and Agus)! The location is super convenient to Encuentro surf beach (and the guys at Wave Soul surf school are amazing to work with too!). We would definitely return and highly recommend.

We happen to be there for their yearly party which included entertainment, outdoor buffet, and fireworks! Most staff was great, check in was a little iffy... felt bad for the new guy Brian who was trying to explain fees but had no idea what he was talking about... Supervisor Fanny could have been more helpful.
Beautiful and peaceful place surrounded by a tropical garden and with 2 cute swimming pools. The room was clean and looked like the pictures. Breakfast was good and you can make yourself what you like sitting by the pool. There is also a kitchen that guests can use. It is located approximately 20 Min walking to play encuentro, the famous surf beach and the guys from the B&B have a surf school offering classes and renting the material. The best is to combine the stay with surfing!
activities employees are phenomenal! Also food and entertainment is 10 out of 10. The beach, and the surroundings are very nice.
