Loved the location at the end of a dirt road, no traffic and lush scenery. We saw lots of native animals on site and could continously hear the waterfalls in the background. The sounds are well kept and the bungalows are just what you need, semi private areas, hot water and really good breakfast. Was a delight to stay here.
Fortuna
Located 2 km from Chachagua Village and 10 minutes’ drive from La Fortuna Town Centre, Villas Josipek offers a terrace, outdoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi throughout.
The wooden bungalows feature a private bathroom with a shower and wardrobe. Some of the bungalows have a fan, air conditioning and a seating area.
Nice territory we even find a sloth near the villas. Reception man was friendly and welcome.

Beautiful location! We loved the night walk around the property. The bungalow was simple but nice and the staff were very helpful. Being in the jungle was so special
First things first: every single staff member I interacted with was very nice, incredibly helpful and service oriented. The room (we had the big accessible bungalow) was very nice and parking was close by.
Kevin and Tannia, the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived in the late evening. Tannia drove us to the nearby grocery store to buy few essentials. The bungalow was facing tropical forest and had mountain view. The hotel is surrounded by a lot of nature and feel very relaxing. An exceptional place to enjoy the quite place. The facilities are extremely good and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with great view over looking the mountains. I recommend the hotel for the other guests and families.

The swimming pool is nice, and there is a very nice Tico restaurant across the street. There is a lush garden.
A quiet location perfect for various trips in the Volcano Arenal area. You will have a lot of privacy there and you're just 10-15 min away from noisy and crowded La Fortuna. Nice swimming pool and tasty breakfasts :) Various birds are visiting the garden all day long, the best time to observe the nature is early morning :) There are two bedrooms with their own, fully equipped bathrooms. Well-equipped kitchen. And most importantly: very helpful hosts that were even following the weather news for us!
I booked there because anteaters and sloths are on the grounds but sadly I didn't see any. Luckily it was a good place to stay anyway. Clean room, hot shower. Breakfast was great with a bird feeding station providing great entertainment. The staff were very helpful and booked tours for us. It rained quite a lot, specially at night, which is very noisy on a tin roof. Lots of mosquitoes as well so bring protection. Also we could park the car right next to our bungalow.
Very nice hotel, all little bungalows. we appreciated the privacy. Lush tropical garden, swimming pool with volcano vieuw. Very nice breakfast. Staff is very friendly. The hotel is not in the centre but its at 15 min by walk. Reception can get you a taxi. Will be going back. Rustic hotel. We had an armadillo in front of our bungalow and saw a toucan while swimming in the swimming pool.
