El Zaino
Santa Marta is 31 km from the accommodation, while Palomino is 40 km from the property. The nearest airport is Simón Bolívar International, 38 km from Serrano Glamping. The property offers a paid airport shuttle service. We have travelled around South America for the past 5 weeks and our stay at serrano glamping is the most unique and memorable stay that we have had in any location. Paulo contacted me as soon as I had made the booking, and he sorted out our transfer which cost around £30 from Santa Marta airport, and 3 mototaxis up the mountain for me, my wife and our big bag, which cost around £2 each. The location is so unique - accessed via a bridge over a river then up a mountain by walk or moto taxi up into the rainforest above. The accommodation itself was a beautifully unique glamping tent, with shower, toilet and comfortable beds with mosquito nets along with a beautiful balcony from which we watched lots of unique birds. In terms of cleanliness - it is the cleanest property we have stayed at on our travels. Paulo arranged our transfer to tayrona, which took around 5 minutes and cost £3. They gave us excellent advice for our visit to Tayrona - to go early and avoid the crowds, which really made our visit to Tayrona as we were there for doors opening at 7am and had the place to ourselves. Paulo and brune cooked for us both nights we were there, beautiful burgers the first night and chicken wraps the second. Fantastic, simple home cooking at its best from Brune. I cannot thank Paulo and Bruno enough, they are two of the nicest people we have had the pleasure of meeting and we were sorry that we couldn’t stay longer. I can’t recommend the property enough.
Guachaca
Casa Grande Surf is located 37 km from Santa Marta, 5 km from Tayrona Park and 500 meters from the Mendihuaca´s River mouth. Free private parking is available on site.
Guests can enjoy a meal at the on-site restaurant, followed by a drink at the bar.

Amazing location and views - including from the lovely swimming pool! Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of hammocks and comfortable spaces for relaxing. Peaceful and surrounded by nature with very nice local walks. Visits to indigenous village and coffee/cacao farm were lovely. We enjoyed the meals and chatting to others at the long dining room tables. Beautiful sunsets with delicious pina coladas!

Really friendly and helpful. Basic rooms but comfortable bed, ensuite shower and nice balcony. Loved the swimming pool, especially after a long trek through Tayrona Park. Good location, set back from the main road and very close to the Park entrance.
The location and the swimming pool and the cocktails
An old colonial building with lots of character in the historic centre. Easy access to beach, promenade and entertainment. The room was clean and the staff were very helpful. They do laundry by the kilo as well for a good price with a quick turnaround.
Nice interior design and architecture, arranged with taste, full of plants. swimming pools available, comfy bed and pillows, rooftop terrace. Good food and drinks served. Attractive entertainment programme including salsa lessons ;)

The location of the Finca is just amazing, with the tropical beautiful swimming pool as highlight. The garden is as well breathtaking, very well maintained and impressively divers. The restaurant served good meals and delicious fresh coconut juices. The bungalows are spacious. The staff is very friendly and kind, we had a fantastic stay!
Great place in the middle of nature, with views over the moutains and jungle (for the 2 “high” bungalows). The swimming pool is so pleasant and warm.
really very well-kept hotel area - lot of vegetation, you can also meet a lot of interesting animals, such as various lizards and birds - great views, you feel like a wild place - very nice and spacious bungalow, silence at night, only pleasent animals sounds can be heard - friendly service but if the hotel targets foreign clients, more people should speak English, although personally it was not a problem for us - nice swimming pool area - good food and drink prices for such a hotel
