My friend and I arrived late (after midnight) by rental car from Halifax. He (the landlord) was waiting for us and directed us to our cottage. We really appreciated this kind service.

El Cajun Cedar Log Cottages se encuentra a 30 minutos en auto de Cheticamp. The cabin was spacious and well equipped with stove, fridge, each from heated with separate thermostats,and an AC (which we never needed) and a laundry room on premises. There as a covered porch with chairs facing a beautiful view of the mountains. It is close to a supermarket and a wonderful bakery/cafe. We were there for a week and a half but could have stayed much longer. The host was very friendly and helpful. It would be perfect for a long term stay like a month or more. There is also a path leading down to a famous trout and salmon river, the Margaree River and it is gorgeous.

A little suggestion to the owner, the current photos posted on booking.com are dated, and they don’t reflect how good the chalet is. I would suggest uploading new photos to attract more ppl.
