Le Bougainvillier Blanc ligger i Pointe-Noire, 2,4 km fra Marigot Strand, og tilbyder indkvartering med udendørs swimmingpool, gratis privat parkering, have og tennisbane. We spent a delightful 6 days at La Bougainvillier Blanc in late January. We have poor French-language skills but we managed quite well, aided by a translation app on our phone (you need lots of data - 50 MB). We deliberately didn’t rent a car - that worked because we like walking. If that’s not your preference, you’ll have an easier time with a rental. Our favourite places were the larger local beach, Plage Caraibe, (great snorkelling at the north end) which was about 5 km away, and the Chute de Acomet, a beautiful little waterfall with lots of little pools downstream, which was 7.5 km away. That made for some long walks with some significant hills. Fortunately, there is also a local transport system available which made it easy to get to the other nearby beach (Plage de Petite Anse). Hitch-hiking is considered normal. Good local maps are free at the tourist office. Our gracious host Lucien has a wonderful little swimming pool at the guesthouse, so an end-of-day swim was part of our routine. The trickiest part for us was dinner – we tried to get back to La Bougainvillier Blanc by sunset to avoid walking in the dark, but most restaurants only opened later. We worked around this by eating a large late lunch (good choices at the beaches), eating at the one restaurant that opened at 17:00 (An Ba Tol La), or else making our own dinner in our well-equipped kitchen. If you have a car, there are at least 3 good restaurants close by. Pointe-Noire is not a tourist town so most shops close in the afternoon. Some useful shops that are open most of the day are along the main road (N2) – there are two pharmacies in the centre of town, and a large grocery ((Carrefour Express) and a good bakery/coffee shop on the southern half of town. We weren’t looking for a lot of tourist activities – just a quiet, peaceful time with low-key, interesting things to do each day. La Bougainvillier Blanc and Pointe-Noire were perfect for that.

Las Puertas del Paraíso ligger blot 7 minutters kørsel fra stranden Playa Río San Juan. Ejendommen har gratis WiFi overalt, udendørs pool, morgenbuffet samt à la carte-restaurant. Food was really good. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast there. All were great. The grounds were well kept and beautiful. It was real quite - was nice.

Neymar Beach House ligger i Camuy i det nordlige Puerto Rico-område og har balkon. Overnatningsstedet ligger 29 km fra Arecibo Observatory og 20 km fra Rio Camuy Cave Park. Der er have og terrasse. Everything was neat and clean. Very detail-oriented and comfortable space. Host was very attentive and responsive.

Malvales Resort ligger i Willemstad, 6,1 km fra Curacao Sea Aquarium og 8,4 km fra Queen Emma Bridge. Der er udendørs swimmingpool og aircondition. I like Everything. The house was spacious and the bed was so comfy and so relaxing, the pool was great also.

Villa Rose Caraibes ligger i Pointe-Noire, ca. 2,4 km fra Marigot Strand, og har pooludsigt. Denne feriepark har egen pool, have, grillfaciliteter, gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering.

Au Jardin Des Colibris Ecolodge&Spa ligger i Deshaies i Basse-Terre-regionen og har terrasse. Der er adgang til terrasse og gratis privat parkering. We enjoyed the garden and the view over the harbour very much, and we spent our time watching the birds and lizards jumping on the leaves.

Le Domharry ligger i Anse Bertrand Chapelle, blot 500 meter fra stranden, og har udendørs pool som er åben året rundt samt havudsigt. Le Gosier ligger 29 km derfra. Wonderful garden, perfect place to relax!

Esprit Caraibe ligger i den rolige tropiske skov Saint-François, blot 2,4 km fra stranden. Der er gratis WiFi i dette feriehus. Ferieboligerne i form af hytter i træerne har opholdsområde. Bamboo Bonaire Boutique Resort ligger blot 2 km nord for hovedstaden Kralendijk og få skridt fra Det Caribiske Hav. Der er gratis WiFi overalt og en have med swimmingpool. We loved everything about the Bamboo Boutique. It was beyond what we expected! The room was amazing and decorated beautifully. We loved all the "extras' all around the property. We especially like the private outdoor shower and patio area. It was truly a magical place to stay :) We will stay there again if/when we return to Bonaire!

Yepton Estate Cottages ligger i en stor tropisk have ved siden af et fuglereservat med saltlagune. Der tilbydes indkvartering med egen forplejning omkring en udendørs pool. The owners were extremely hospitable, helped us with our luggage, transportation and dinner recommendations. We had a great time!
