Big room with big window but no real view. Feel a bit old but clean.
Nice swimming pool (too cold at this time of the year though)
Close to the river and walking distance from restaurants and the temples
- beautiful location by the river
- spacious rooms (we booked a superior double), nice balcony
- lovely gardens
- a nice little swimming pool
- good food in the restaurant
- comfortable beds
Lovely, small, secluded resort just 500m from Tha Ton bridge. The owner, Nid, was really helpful. She picked us up from the bus station, advised on good places to eat in town and booked our onward travel by boat to Chiang Rai. The bungalow was lovely with large patio beside a swimming pool. We only stayed a night but it was a great place to relax and we wished we'd stayed longer! The freshly cooked breakfast was great with beautiful views over the valley.
Travellers should be aware that tourism in this region has suffered greatly in the last three years. Many accommodations and restaurants are still struggling to survive. Nid is a warm-hearted, helpful hostess who is happy to support her guests in all matters. The beautiful complex is 5-7 minutes walk from the centre. From our bungalow we had a wonderful view over the valley and into the garden. Definitely a good place to read a book in peace and enjoy the surrounding nature.
Well maintained property in beautiful setting, comfortable and clean bungalows, nice pool and bar/restaurant, close to town, friendly and helpful staff
